Here is a small introduction about me.
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where I work with Dr. Robert Fisher in his computational astrophysics group. My research combines both cutting-edge theory and state-of-the-art simulations to understand the origin of one of the brightest astrophysical transients in the universe — Type Ia supernovae.
Prior to starting my doctoral studies, I completed an M.S. in Physics. During my one-year OPT period, I served as a Research Computing Facilitator at the Center for Scientific Computing and Data Research (CSCDR), where I gained expertise in improving the scalability and optimizing the computations of various codes using parallel computing algorithms.
In my free time, I like to go swimming, workout, and cook some authentic Indian cuisines.
